For those seeking improvement in their skin using chemical peels, finding the right fit can be challenging. Some peels may be great for their skin type but do not address the patient’s primary skin concerns. Others may solve the problem they have but be too risky for their skin tone. With a VI Peel, you can find your match.
Our goal at Quinn Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Center is to provide the most innovative and optimal skincare treatments available to help our patients achieve their skin goals. That's why we're proud to offer all five face peels plus the body peel that comprise the VI Peel product lineup at our modern and welcoming office, which can provide outstanding skin rejuvenation and a relaxing experience.
The VI Peel is a specialized chemical peel specifically designed to target issues on all skin types and tones. With a VI Peel Kansas City patients can address sun damage, acne, acne scarring, hyperpigmentation, and signs of aging. Because there are six different peels to choose from, there's an excellent option for everyone.
This peel is the standout treatment for all types of hyperpigmentation, including UV-related, melasma, and PIH (post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation).
This combo peel can effectively address hyperpigmentation as well as adult acne, acne scarring, and oily skin.
Often used on patients with active, flared-up acne, this peel is great for skin that is prone to breakouts, teen acne, and oil and sebum overproduction.
The Advanced peel is the go-to for 40+ aging skin. This formula can address fine lines, wrinkles, and even mild skin laxity.
Frequently chosen for first-time patients, the Original is a great choice for sensitive skin and can be used to improve the appearance of aging and smooth a rough texture.
Incredibly versatile, the Body peel can be used nearly anywhere on the body to correct hyperpigmentation, calm acne, fade scars and stretch marks, and so much more.
With all of these unique formulations available, nearly anyone looking to improve their skin using a non-invasive, non-surgical technique is a great candidate for a VI Peel. These products are a great option for both men and women and while most of our VI Peel clients are in their 30s to 60s, the peels are safe for teens as young as 13 who may be struggling with acne.
We commonly combine a VI Peel with other treatments, including injectables, to produce a beautifully comprehensive and totally rejuvenated result. One popular offering is the ToxBooster Treatment, which includes a peel and a neurotoxin. When combined, there is a 60% reported decrease in wrinkles compared to only a 37% decrease when a neurotoxin injectable is used alone.
Our goal is to ensure that patients are informed and aware of all possible outcomes, expected results, and necessary preparation. At a consultation, we will determine if one of the VI Peels is right for you, decide if there are any bonus treatments that might be beneficial, and create a custom treatment plan.
During your VI Peel appointment, our licensed aesthetician will ensure that you are relaxed and comfortable in one of our relaxing treatment rooms. Then, the skin will be cleansed, and the chosen peel serum will be applied gradually in layers. In most cases, your session will take no more than about 30 minutes, but the peel will need to be left on for at least four hours. It can then be rinsed off at home with cool water and our aesthetician will provide you with post care products and instructions.
Often, results can be seen as soon as seven days after treatment, and there is no required downtime, unlike many harsher peels. Most patients see great, vibrant, clear-skin results for three to four months.

Possible risks could include redness, itchiness, or swelling of the treatment area. Very rare side effects include blistering, scarring, or infection.
VI Peel results typically last about three to four months but can be extended with ideal maintenance.
Yes! The beauty of the VI Peel is that these products are specifically designed to be effective and very safe for all skin types.
The cost of VI Peels vary depending on which peel is used and if other treatments or services are included.
